Squared away reviews for the 50+ traveler — and the desk to book it.
Travel desk
Everything that earned an Outstanding, with a link to go get it. When we have a discount or a code, it goes on the card. If it's on this page, Gunny would buy it again with his own money.

Current discounts
Voyager Snack Co.
Granola and pretzel bites. Chanhassen, Minnesota. Made in the USA.
4.6OVERALLOUTSTANDING
Fresh, and the bag actually reseals. Get the Expedition Granola.
Paid our own way, through a grandchild's fundraiser.
Read the briefStore link coming. We're confirming where to buy.
Swim-up, every floor
Majestic Mirage
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
4.5TRIP MARKOUTSTANDING
Swim-up lazy river on every floor. Book every dinner reservation on day one.
Partially comped: rooms 40 percent off through a Travel2Go veterans discount.
Every brief says who paid, right in its header: paid our own way, gifted, comped, or paid partnership.
Every video says it out loud, and every social post carries the platform's paid partnership label and #ad in the caption.
Any affiliate link gets marked right beside the link, where you'll see it.
When we can book something and earn a commission on it, we say so right beside the button. Your price is the same. How we book.
A brand can pay for his time. Nobody can pay for the mark. A paid review can still come back Serviceable or UNSAT.
Our aim: to be the most transparent name in UGC, knowing that we are also partners in what gets created.
Two different things, so nobody is surprised
UGC we make for you. You approve the script, you own the footage, it runs on your channels. We don't publish a grade on it.
Briefs we publish here. Our voice, our verdict, and it can come back Serviceable or UNSAT. If we're reviewing something you paid for, we'll tell you that before we start.
Partner roll
Paid, gifted, comped, or affiliate
No paid partnerships yet. We paid our own way on every trip here, with one discount worth naming.
Travel2Go veterans discount, September 2022: 40 percent off our rooms at Majestic Mirage, Punta Cana. Not a paid partnership and not arranged with the resort, just a discount open to any veteran. It's in that brief's header too.
Hotel ZaZa, Dallas, June 2024: we paid the original room rate and the Rock Star suite upgrade was comped. No agreement, no strings, and nothing promised in return. It's in that brief's header too.
Pending: Gunny has applied to the GOVX ambassador program. If he's accepted, it gets listed here, along with what it includes.
Affiliate links and commission
Affiliate links: none yet. When we join an affiliate program, its required disclosure goes here, and every affiliate link in the travel desk list gets marked right under its button.
Travel commission: pending. Nikki became a travel advisor with Fora in October 2026. Supplier access is still being set up, so nothing here is bookable yet and we have earned nothing. A booking commission is not an affiliate link, but it is money, and it gets disclosed exactly the same way: beside the button, every time. Gunny is not an advisor and earns nothing on a booking. How we book.
Neither one ever changes the mark, and neither one ever changes your price.
Media kit
You're buying content for your channels, not our followers.
Seventy seconds, no script polish, no studio. This is who shows up in your video.
Meet Gunny
Sample: a port day, start to finish
Roatán, shot on a cruise port day: vertical, captioned, and cut for feeds. It runs at the top of the brief it belongs to, which is how every project ends up here. Watch it in the Regal Princess brief.

What usage rights mean
Every video includes 12 months of organic use, so you can post it on your own website and social feeds. Running it as a paid ad is paid usage, priced by how long it runs. Whitelisting means your ad runs from our vet2GoGo account instead of yours, which often makes it read less like an ad.

Cruise lines and ports
He books the military rate, then tells you what it actually got him.
Our audience sails. They are also the people most likely to have a benefit, a discount, or a code they don't know how to use. We film the booking, the cabin, the sea days, and the port, and we name what it cost.
Three ways to buy it
Sailing package, $5,000 to $7,500
Full coverage of one sailing: 10 to 12 pieces, a stills set, 12 months of paid use, raw footage included.
Port day, from $675
One port, start to finish: the excursion, the beach club, or the course. 3 pieces plus stills.
Benefits desk, from $250
One video explaining one real benefit on camera, with the screen recording to prove it. This is the content that travels furthest in veteran groups.
Who this is for
Cruise lines and ships courting travelers 50 and over.
Ports, beach clubs, and excursion operators who need port-day content.
Travel agencies and booking platforms selling to veterans and military families.
How the fare works
We book and pay our own fare unless you host us. Either way it's disclosed on camera and in writing.
A hosted sailing does not buy a verdict. The video we make is yours and ungraded. The brief we publish is ours and honest.
Lead time: 30 days preferred, both U.S. passport holders, vacation ready.
Gear and product testing
Does it earn its spot in the bag?
He carries it, wears it, or uses it on a real day: weather, walking, and the back of a truck. Then it gets a mark. The video we make is yours and ungraded. The brief we publish is ours and honest.
Four ways to buy it
Seabag inspection, from $250
One video. Out of the box, into the bag or back on the shelf, with the verdict said out loud.
Product brief, from $675
Real use over days, not minutes. 3 videos, a stills set, and a written brief with marks published here.
90-day re-brief, from $250
Same product, three months of wear, updated mark. Nobody else re-grades, and for durable goods it's the only review that proves the claim.
Private field report, quoted
Written for your product team, not the feed: what confused him, what he'd change, where it wore first. Never published.
How we test
Weighed on a scale, in ounces, and measured packed.
Used for real days, with the number of days and the conditions stated in the brief.
Compared to what it replaced in his bag, by name.
Price paid and where it was bought, printed in the header.
What failed first, if anything did.
The over-50 standard
Nobody else grades on this, and for our audience it decides the sale.
Can he work the zippers, buckles, and latches with cold hands?
Can he read the print without reaching for readers?
Does it work one-handed, standing up, in a hurry?
Does it need an app, an account, or a charge to do its job?
How much does the weight matter a mile in?
What we won't put in the bag
No dropship gadgets. No viral gimmicks. Nothing he wouldn't buy again with his own money. If it can't survive a real week, it doesn't get a video.
Samples and shipping
We send a shipping address after booking. Two weeks of lead time is ideal.
Sizes on request, for apparel and footwear, before you ship.
The sample stays with us unless you want it back. We'll return it at your cost.
Gifted and comped items are disclosed on camera and in writing, every time.
Resorts and courses
A working greenskeeper reviewing your course, and a Marine grading your restaurant.
Gunny keeps a golf course alive for a living, so he reads your greens, your tees, and your bunkers the way your superintendent does. And a Marine grading a resort restaurant is exactly the review your food and beverage director would want: specific, unvarnished, and believable to the people who book.
The video we make is yours and ungraded. The brief we publish is ours and honest. You'll know which one you're buying before we start.
Three ways to buy it
Terrain walk, from $675
Your course from the maintenance side: conditions, the signature hole, the practice facility, how it plays for a golfer over 50, and a straight verdict. 3 pieces plus stills.
Resort and course package, from $2,400
Arrival, the room, two or three signature holes, the clubhouse, a round in progress, the restaurants, and the pool. 6 pieces with 2 hooks each, plus a stills set.
Shoulder season campaign, quoted
Content built for the weeks that don't sell themselves. Our Roatán brief, where she had the infinity pool to herself until 2 o'clock, is the model.
Drive market, no flights
Any property within 300 miles of San Antonio. Hill Country, Austin, Houston, the coast.
One-day shoot. No flights, no trip minimum. We drive, we shoot, we go home.
Same deliverables, same standards, faster turnaround.
Food and beverage
Add your restaurants to any package. One Marine, one honest plate at a time, in the language your guests actually use.
Stills, not just video
Every resort and course project includes a high-resolution stills set, horizontal and vertical, for your website, your OTA listings, and your sales decks.
On your property, by your rules
We shoot to your rules, on your schedule, in filming windows agreed in advance.
No drones. Ever.
Signed releases from anyone in the shot or the frame, guests and staff alike.
We carry a certificate of insurance, and we'll send it before we arrive.
We stay out of the way of your paying guests.
Travel projects
You only pay for the pieces.
No travel-day billing. No per diem. You order the work, and that's the bill. Flights, hotels, and transfers are negotiated separately, before anything is booked.
Trip minimum: 8 pieces, or $2,400, for any project that requires flights.
Availability: vacation ready, both U.S. passport holders, 30-day lead time preferred.
Two on the Roster now, both from one household. More onboarding.
If the weather or the airline has other plans
Flight cancellations, hurricanes, and natural disasters get one of two outcomes, and you choose:
Reschedule the shoot for the next workable date.
Shoot it as is, with your written approval before the trip ends, so you know exactly what you're getting.
Paperwork
W-9 available on request.
Certificate of insurance available on request.
Contracting, usage terms, and invoicing handled by us. One invoice, whoever shoots it.
What we won't take
Tobacco.
Anything implying Marine Corps or DoD endorsement.
